A note from the founder
I created ExpertLive because one of the most valuable resources in business and life is access to the right people at the right time. When we reach a fork in the road, practical guidance from someone who has been there before can change the outcome.
Too often, people can find connections but not conversations. They can find profiles, but not real context. ExpertLive was built to make learning/guidance/advice and mentorship easier to access and on your terms. It took me many years to build a network, my goal is to drastically shorten the process for you to do the same.
Why ExpertLive exists
Professional social networks are useful, but they often stop at connections. At critical moments, we need more than a connection list — we need direct access to those who can help us think clearly through a real decision. The AI/Chatbot world we are quickly becoming accustomed to is great, but a chatbot has never sat in a board room, applied for college, caught a football, or fixed a broken light switch.
ExpertLive is designed to make one-on-one expert calls straightforward: find the right person, book time, and talk through the challenge with someone who has genuine experience in the field. No, it's not free, because time has value; knowledge is valuable.
Why lived experience still matters
A generation of experienced professionals is retiring from the workforce, taking with them decades of practical judgment and operational pattern recognition. Atheletes may have hung up their cleats for the last time, but lessons learned under years of performing under pressure can benefit us all. That type of knowledge is difficult to capture in a static page, search result, or single prompt.
