What to expect before and after a booking request.
Customers choose an available time and submit a booking request with a topic. Experts review the request and can accept or decline. If accepted, the booking is confirmed and both sides can access call details.
After acceptance, the booking moves into a confirmed flow and appears in Bookings for both participants. You can use Bookings to track status, timing, and related details before and after the call.
If you can no longer attend an accepted booking, cancel as soon as possible from your booking details or booking communications. If timing or payment issues are involved, contact Support so the team can review next steps.
Yes, bookings can be canceled in supported scenarios. Exact outcomes can depend on booking status and timing, so some cancellations may require Support review.
Where to find payment records and how refund reviews are handled.
For completed billable calls, earnings are sent to the expert’s connected Stripe account. Stripe then pays out to the expert’s bank account based on their Stripe payout schedule.
Experts can view earnings and payment details in Payments. Customers can review paid or refunded booking payment details from Bookings, including receipts and related records when available.
Go to Bookings and open a completed or refunded booking to view available payment details and receipt information.
Customers pay for access to a scheduled live consultation session with the selected expert. Refunds are reviewed case by case and may be offered as a full refund, partial refund, platform credit, or reschedule support depending on what happened. A refund may be considered for issues like expert no-show, duplicate charge, major technical failure, material mismatch with the booking, or policy violations. Refunds are generally not issued automatically just because a user is unhappy with advice or outcomes after a completed session. ExpertLive may review booking records, timestamps, participation/session data, communications, and review history when deciding requests. Repeated abuse of refund or review processes may reduce refund eligibility or affect account standing. If approved, refunds typically return to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on the bank or card network.
How to get help and how account closure works.
Start with your Bookings and Payments pages, then use the Support page for next steps. For issues that need manual review, contact support@expertlive.app and include your booking ID when possible.
Use the account closure flow in your profile settings. Closure is immediate after confirmation and disables normal access. Certain booking, payment, dispute, and audit records are retained for legal and compliance reasons.
